Wowee

A collaboration between Zeldavision and a corporation in the cannabis retail industry, Wowee launched in 2021 to help millennials and the canna-curious “do weed better”. As cannabis became mainstream in the United States, Wowee’s major projects included livestreaming show “Flower Hour” and live shopping show “Sell High”.

As creative director, I led a team of designers and freelancers in conceptualizing and executing visuals for Wowee's inititatives:

Network Layouts

Flower Hour

Flower Hour was a livestreaming show broadcast on YouTube hosted by comedians Giulia Rozzi and David Gborie. In an fun and approachable tone, the show explored topics relevant to the 'canna-curious' including introductory how-tos, industry expert interviews, and personal accounts of cannabis users.

Sell High

Sell High was QVC-style liveshopping show for 21+ audiences in northern Chicago. Sell High featured discounts on cannabis products, product reviews, and education from experts. Sell High was broadcast on a custom website built in-house with optimized shopping and streaming functionality.

Launch Series

Each video ran as a post on Instagram to form a cohesive grid on Wowee's profile. Ambient sounds were created by Rachel Gertz and designed to increase in pitch as a user scrolled through the posts from Wowee's profile.
